Terrible Customer Service

Yesterday I went to Decofurn Greenside. This was my first ever visit to Decofurn. The service I received was absultely shocking.

The only assistant I could see upon wlaking in the door was a lady by the name of Chantelle who had 3 other customers waiting around her to be served. She was on the phone with another customer who was complaining about something. Never did she apologize or take note of the customers standing around her waiting to be served. This phone call went on for half an hour. This should have been dealt with by a manager, and not an assistant on the floor.

I saw another assistant (Nungwi) and inquired as to if there were more assistants who could help me as he was busy with another customer. His answer to me was "You will have to wait." When he was finished with his first customers he returned and helped another customer standing next to me. Still I waited. Upon finishing with this customer, he proceeded to assist customers who had walked in after I did knowing full well that I was waiting to be served. I walked up and asked him for the manager. To which I was told "The manager is at the front window." I walked to the front window which was labelled cashier and closed. There was no manager. I went back to Nungwi and asked that he call the manager. Again he said the manager was at the front window. When I told him the manager was not, he told me that I should go look for the manager. I apologized to the customers he was serving and told him to bring the manager to me.

The manager eventually arrived. I enquired about the storage Ottomans for which I had gone in originally. I was enquiring about the green velvet storage ottoman. The manager proceeded to tell me that this Ottoman does not come in green. Strange, as I had researched this on the Decofurn website to which I showed the manager a picture. The manager then called the guy who was taking peoples temperatures at the front door and asked him what colours the velvet ottomans came in. Again with it does not come in green. The managers response was that he had never ordered the Green!

Eventually a gentleman by the name of Roger came walking past and when I enquired about the colours, he mentioned the green.

Needless to say I left the store having wasted my time, in a bad mood, and without purchasing anything.
