No after sales service

<p>My husband and I went to decofurn this past Saturday (17 June) and spent app R6000 at your Durban branch. Among the goods we purchased is a 2 drawer desk and when my husband wanted to assemble said desk, he discovered that one part is missing (the part to make the one drawer slide in and out and stay in place). So on Sunday 18 June we sent an email attaching photos of this part seeing as we live in Richards Bay and travelling to Durban isn't an option. We got no reply and by Tuesday we called the Durban branch. My husband spoke to the floor manager who started blaming my husband's inability to assemble the desk as being the problem. We are fully capable of following simple instructions and if a part simply isn't here we cannot pluck it out if thin air to assemble the desk. The floor manager said that he will give us a call to talk my husband through the assembly process which still hasn't happened. He was also very insistent that us obtaining the missing part should be at our own expense which I find absolutely ridiculous. We bought a product from you, many products actually, and I expect that you place me in the position I expected to be in from the day of my purchase. You cannot put that expense and responsibility on your client as it was your mistake. As I mentioned we live in Richards Bay and don't travel to Durban on a regular basis and we will not be able to do so just to collect a missing part from your product. We work 7 day weeks most of the time anyway. I would however be more than happy to return all of the goods we bought for a FULL refund in order to spend my money where we get complete products from the start. I trust that someone will be able to come up with a solution to please everyone. Await your response.</p>
