Minithle and Kabelo Customer Service Experience at Decofurn Northriding
I know I'm probably wasting my time writing this based on my experience. When I'm big I want to be like Minnie and Kabelo (The Manager) at Decofurn Northriding. I bought some furniture in November and I was told it would be available in 2 weeks. I then got a call from the sales person last week who said it would be in store on Wednesday 10th December. I called the store yesterday the 10th and was told "Michelle, I promise I will phone you back". Needless to say I didn't receive a call. I went to the store today to find out about my products and I was told my Minithle, that it will only be available in mid Jan. I told her I was told it would be in store by yesterday. She said with attitude "I can only tell you what's on the system". Not trying to find a solution to the problem they created. Must be nice to not be accountable. I ask to speak to the manager because I don't understand why I'm receiving attitude. In walks Kabelo and again. While relaying the story to Kabelo, Minithle sunken into the chair, says "I said..." No reaction from Kabelo. So is it company policy to be rude to clients and managers don't feel the need tell the employee that is not acceptable. Long story short, Kabelo says he's won't phone the sales person who gave me the incorrect information because it's his day off. So Decofurn Northriding is willing to inconvenience the customer with a problem they created instead of finding a solution. It must be nice in this trading environment to not worry about how you treat your customer. If this is company policy, please can I also get a job there because clearly you just let the staff do whatever they want.
