DO NOT BUY FROM DECOFURN

On the 25 July 2018, I went to DECOFURN- Greenstone, to purchase a Bonded Leather Recliner Set. During the purchase process, I overheard one of their sales lady telling the sales man who was helping me that they had no stock available and the one in the warehouse was returned by the customer as it was faulty with a broken corner set. I wanted to cancel the order but I was assured by the warehouse manager together with the sales man that the one sold to me is in good condition and not the faulty one. It’s ironic that within few days I started noticing that the console of the corner set was unsteady, living a lopsided gap between the two back rests. DECOFURN then sent their people to come and fix it. I was happy when I observed that the backrest was not unsteady anymore and the gap between the console was level and strong. I immediately wrote a thank you letter. I guess I wrote the letter too soon as in few days, the gap between the console started to be visible again. When I looked closely I noticed that they had drilled a nail between the two console so to keep them tied together. Now I do not only have a lopsided console, but an entire recliner set that won’t disassemble, which is going to be a nightmare when I move house. It is now been 10 months since my complain. I have been sent from pillar to post and now I am being given a silent treatment with no one responding to my emails or taking responsibility to resolve this matter.
