DISPLAYED ITEMS NOT IN STOCK

I wanted to purchase a tub chair that I saw on the online catalog I went in store to be told it is not available it's still in Cape Town and they were on sure when it will arrive. I went in store again to buy a occasional chair that was on display at the shop only to be told it was not available as it was discontinued BUT WHY IS IT DISPLAYED THEN IN THE SHOP. I said not a problem can I buy the one next to it THEY SAID NOT IT'S NOT AVAILABLE IT WILL COME ONLY IN END OF SEPTEMBER THEN WHY IS IT ONLY DISPLAY THEN.... this pathetic as this is the third time this has happened I'm tired of this
