Decofurn's system is the worst

I am never every buying from Decofurn again. I ordered a whole lot of furniture from them in December and was told my order would take a week to deliver. but after 2 weeks, nothing happens. I phoned in again and asked what's happening and was told again that it would be delivered in the next 2 weeks. I waited and when nothing happened I phoned again, rinse and repeat for 2 MONTHS and I finally lost it. I called again and demanded to know what's happening only to be told that the driver did come to my house and called me on my cell but I didn't answer - A COMPLETE lie since I work from home and always answer my phone even for call centres and would have heard a truck at my driveway if he had pitched up.

So the manager arranged to get everything delivered the same day since they have all my stuff ready. After a couple of hours, the delivery finally arrives.

Now, when I purchased the items I got a T&C thing saying that I need to inspect everything on delivery before the driver leaves and that they won't accept returns after that.

So I tell the driver this and he starts getting ****ed off at me because he doesn't want to do that. I had to phone the head office and get them to TELL him to wait till I inspect everything and take back any damaged items and bring the proper ones back to me. Obviously, he gave me an attitude the entire time because I guess he had better things to do...

Thank goodness I did inspect everything because one of the shelves I ordered came without any *****s so I can't assemble it, a lampshade came in the wrong colour and a wall-mounted shelf I bought didn't come at all because someone had marked it as collected (which I didn't). So now I have to wait even longer for this to get sorted out.

Firstly why make me wait so long for my delivery if they had everything? Secondly, I really don't understand why I as the client need to do quality control for them? Can't they just inspect everything BEFORE delivering it, and why do I need to argue with the delivery guys about waiting for me to inspect everything and bringing me back the right things! This is such a ridiculous system. Decofurn sucks and I am NEVER buying from them again and I don't recommend anyone buy from them. If you do, make sure you inspect EVERYTHING!!
