DECOFURN - UNFAIR BUSINESS PRACTICES!!

I went to Decofurn, North Riding a couple of weeks ago to buy a chair. When I arrived the salespeople were busy checking stock in the store and pretty much ignored me until I began to walk out of the shop.

I bought a chair but on the same day realised it wasn't going to work for me so I went right back (within the hour) and cancelled the order. Last week I received e refund less 5% which I find totally unacceptable! Firstly I was at no time before receiving my refund adivsed that there would be a deduction of any kind - they simply helped themselves!! Even worse, 5% of the delivery and assembly fees was also taken when the chair had not even left its box or the shop!!

Managent keep phoning me telling me it's part of their terms and conditions. I really am not interested in this! I do not know of any other store who would even consider taking money off for an admin fee. It takes five mintues to do an EFT !!

Had they been fair about this, I would most likely have gone back to shop there for other items but they have now lost a customer as well as the custom of all my family and friends! Such a shame that they chase people away like this!

Decofurn are quick to take money from customers but what a battle to get back the full amount owed to me!
