Decofurn Amorosa - Failed promises
We ordered a compete lounge suite set on 5th April and there was no stock on the floor available. We paid the order and was promised delivery on the 11th April.
We returned to the Amarosa branch today to follow up on the scheduled delivery only to be told that the stock has not arrived as there is a delay and our expected delivery date will now be estimated at 17 April 2026.
After expressing our dissatisfaction Neli (Sales Person) left to speak to management and returned a while later advising that stock has arrived but in CT as the vessel was delayed in the port.
Said she would now need to place the order to be shipped to JHB. After further dispute regarding the information, she again left and came back later advising one of the couches are here but the rest of the order has been loaded into a truck already and will be here by Monday 13th April. She assured us that depending what time the truck arrived on Monday, we could still get our order on Monday or by latest Tuesday 14th April.
We requested a confirmation in writing regarding this commitment.
We received an email from Roxanne advising that as per our discussion with Neli. Stock arrived in CT today and they would place our order now and we can expect delivery within 7 days.
Again not what was communicated and committed to by the team.
Promises are being made and constantly providing misleading information and blatantly lies. From no communication to lie after lie.
Extremely dissatisfied with unprofessional behaviour.
Seems Decofurns focus is on having clients pay for orders but having no interest in the follow through of delivering that which has been paid for.
