Decofurn altering documents after clients sign.
This is an update to my previous review about the *****ulent hidden costs that Decofurn charges clients on exchanges. I have subsequently been given paper work that I have asked for from Decofurn which they refused to issue to me yesterday the 2nd December whilst I was in store. I was told to sign an inspection form for the goods returned for credit. I was then ushered out of the store as I was causing a "scene" by asking for my tax invoice - owing since the 15th November as well as the credit notes indicating the amounts for credit. They have still not passed a credit for a cabinet paid for but not in stock and have provided me no proof of credit for this item. Gloria, the cashier told me that if I do not sign the form, they would not process the credit and that the amounts would be filled in once the inspection was completed. Being bul**** into signing the inspection form or I do not receive a tax invoice and credit notes , I see today that they have actually gone and written on the form after I left the store with no copy for my self, a handling fee of 5% - something that I never agreed to and was not on the form when I signed it. I was questioning this "handling fee" issue when I was told to sign a form with no amounts. This is *****. We have subsequently sent correspondence on a company letterhead, contacted Charlene at Head Office and the regional manager Cornel refuses to acknowledge or reply to our correspondence. We are know going to lay a charge of ***** at the police station against Decofurn and it's store manager Tumelo who is the person I am told, who authorizes these handling fees. Furthermore, I have noticed that their marketing team deletes negative Google reviews as they deleted the review I made this morning.
