Deco furn poor service

Made a purchase on the 20th of dec which i paid a shipping for it and they called 28th to say they.ll ship my chair onthe 04th of january because they dont have a delivery coming to my area why do we pay for shipping whereas they.ll just wait for a lift that is poor bad service !!!
