Customer Service is the biggest joke

Purchased a table on the 27th of April, got called for collection a week later (7th of May) and to my inconvenience on arrival was told the table still has not arrived and that I would be issued a credit note for now up until the time the desk does arrive.... called them three weeks after that to inquire on the status of delivery and was told that my order ONLY was placed 7 days ago and I am still in the 7 day waiting period..... this almost 28 days later after the initial purchase! Today more than a month and half later and i still have received no response or attempt to rectify the situation.
