Doesn’t seem legit

I ordered AND PAID for an expensive rug online. I heard nothing for weeks. When I sent an email, I was informed that the rug was out of stock. I wonder if anyone would’ve informed me about the status of the rug if I didn’t ask? They said that a refund would be processed the following day. It is a week later and no refund or feedback. Is this company even legit??
