The 3k offer is only exclusive for Capitec clients. Now, I do have a capitec account, but I never use it for any transactions or fami**** with how their "ewallet" equivalent would work. So it seems like, unlike the other banks where I'd be able to send cash to a number, Capitec's one seems odd given that there's a stupid C code/pin that the recepient (**** guy) can generate, send and it to you. How does that even make sense??, I don't get why capitec has such a stupid thing. Anyway, people like me who aren't fami**** with how capitec works because we just use it for EasyEquities investments (and can spare R3k in a tough month for many like Jan victim) It's unfortunate and evil because many cannot afford to lose so much cash

Sad thing is, I saw this, shared it to my friend (and literally titled the screenshot "Surprise madam" 😂 and I also made my own bookings - one to go with my Dad so we can just do something he's never imagined of us bonding over😊 and the other a Valentines day with my girlfriend. I wanted to book another in March for my lil sister's birthday (luckily I wanted to see how my March looks schedule-wise first. He was already pushing me the following day saying "if I see it get booked I'll let you know first so we don't miss your sister's birthday"

My friend jumped at this too because he wanted to surprise his wife for her birthday and her wife has never been on a flight before (I mean who wouldn't jump at such a value-for-money opportunity if they love someone?)

Anyway long story short, I got excited and chose positivity (because there has just been so much negativity because of covid etc etc) and I'm genuinely an optimistic person first, so I wouldn't be skeptical at anything first nor do I intend to change because life is just bigger than just losing R3k

I told him I hope he used whatever he made, be it R30k/R300k/R30m towards something significant or smart but also that he can't do such to people and expect everything to work out well in the end. Life has an ironic way of "balancing the books" so to speak.

Let us proceed with positivity and put our best foot forward by not letting the rotten bits of this world change who we are. We are bigger than losing 3k and the books will always balance in our favour if our intentions are just righteous and not evil
