Poor Communication and No Resolution on Debt Review Flag Removal

I am extremely disappointed with the lack of service and communication regarding the removal of a debt review flag from my credit profile.

All of the accounts in question have prescribed, and I have been trying to obtain assistance in having this matter resolved. My initial correspondence was completely ignored, and I received no response whatsoever. It was only after sending a second email that I was contacted by Nicole Witbooi, who advised that the matter was being investigated.

Unfortunately, since receiving that email, there has been no meaningful feedback, update, or resolution. To date, nothing has been done, and the communication has been poor at best. I have found the company to be unresponsive and not forthcoming with information, leaving me uncertain as to whether any progress is being made.

For additional context, I originally entered the debt review process in 2021 but did not proceed because the proposed repayment amount was unaffordable. Despite this, my attempts to engage and seek clarity at the time were largely ignored.

As a consumer, I expect transparency, regular communication, and a reasonable effort to resolve legitimate concerns. Instead, I have been met with delays, silence, and a lack of accountability.

I urge the company to provide a clear update on the status of my request and take the necessary steps to address the removal of the debt review flag without further delay.

Title: Ongoing Delays Despite Providing Proof of Prescribed AccountsI am disappointed to report that this matter continues to be unnecessarily delayed. After struggling to obtain any response and being forced to escalate my concerns publicly, the debt counsellor has now come back requesting letters confirming that the accounts have prescribed. This is despite the fact that I have already provided credit bureau reports reflecting that the accounts are prescribed and no longer enforceable.Instead of receiving meaningful assistance to resolve the debt review flag on my profile, I am being asked for additional documentation without a clear explanation as to why the evidence already supp**** is insufficient. This appears to be yet another obstacle in a process that has been dragging on far longer than it should. What is particularly frustrating is that I have cooperated fully throughout the process and have promptly supp**** the information requested. Rather than progressing the matter towards resolution, I am faced with further delays and additional requirements that were never previously communicated. As a consumer, I expect consistency, transparency, and reasonable assistance. If the reports provided are not acceptable, then a clear explanation should be given as to why they are insufficient and what specific legal or regulatory requirement necessitates further documentation.I urge the debt counsellor to stop delaying this matter, provide a clear justification for the additional request, and take the necessary steps to resolve the debt review flag without further unnecessary obstacles.Cedric Vaughan-Dunn
