Frustration and disappointment

I would like to thank debt safe for being there at the time me and my wife where struggling financially. The woman, who used to work at debt safe by the name Gibsy, really cared about us. She contacted us regularly to make sure we are satisfied. Indeed by then we were satisfied. But then she left debt safe, that's when the horror started.

First I was given Nicky as my relationship manager. When I tried to reach him, every time I was told his on the line with a client or he is out of office. The only time I received a call from him and his manager was when I reported my experience with them on this website, pleading with me to remove the negative feedback from hellopeter.com

Then they changed my relationship manager. At this moment it is Martha Lebea. Would you believe if I tell you that she is also not available to answer calls? Always on the line with a client or on lunch?

I have never head her voice. Anyway I missed a call once, I suppose it was from her. I then requested that we communicate via email since we are not finding each other on the phone. She agreed.

Now we are using the portal as a communication means. Still I don't get responses from her.

I requested her to check if the in duplum rule applies in my case. I send her by loan statements. But even now she has never come back to me.

I am still in need of an explanation. I call she is never available, I email she is still not available. I have hit a dead end.

I share the disappointment and frustrations of others who joined debt safe.

It seems like debt safe has hired people who does not have the required s****s, qualifications and experience to deal with us.

For those not aware: The in duplum rule is a common law rule that provides that arrear interest ceases to accrue once the sum of the unpaid (accrued) interest equals the amount of capital outstanding at the time (and not the amount of capital originally advanced). "In duplum" directly translates to "double the amount"
