DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS COMPANY

If you need help with debt - rather use another company as Debtsafe promises their help, but will definitely cause you more stress. And dear Debtsafe - do not answer this complaint with: We tried contacting you, blah blah blah. I was VERY clear that I cannot answer my cellphone during certain times. I signed up with Debtsafe in February/March. I filled in the wrong bank account number on one of the many forms, which the "debt counselor" asked me to send the correct form - which I did on the 12th of March. By the end of March I was emailed by a payments consultant asking for the signed form. I informed her that I resent the correct form. She persisted with asking for the form - I had to physically email her photo's of the emails. She did not even bother to respond. I just received an sms that my payment will be deducted end of April. Come end April - no deduction, even though my bank account had sufficient funds on both occasions. Beginning of May I receive an email stating suspension of services. I have sent them many emails, but only get "they need the signed document" in return. So instead of giving me peace of mind, I am left with stress and frustration. I really feel that this issue is the stupidest thing - as I want to pay and signed the debit order, but because of no communication between their colleagues, I am left feeling ****ed off and frustrated. Please if you are dealing with the following people at Debtsafe, please be careful as they make a fuss about assisting you but when it gets tough they ask that you move to another agency: Martha, Gerhard, Monique, Jaco, Rebecca, Elize.
