Debt safe refuse to give me a cancellation letter
<p>I cancelled my debt review with debtsafe in January 2016 and was granted on the 28 January 2015.</p> <p>I have requested for a cancellation letter from them on numerous occasions and they refuse to supply me with it as they say they cannot due to a ruling that was made in February 2015 however my cancellation was granted on 28 January2015.</p> <p>I feel this is very poor service after taking my money for many months and now get treated like this. This is affecting me getting any form of employment affecting my credit rating.</p> <p>I'm terribly upset about this and have no alternative but to seek legal advice.</p>

Kindly be advised that the Form 17.4 was issued and e-mailed to you on 25/02/2015, e-mail address ***. Proof hereof has been e-mailed to you.
Please also be advised that your cancellation was requested in February from the NCR. The Amendment to the National Credit Act occurred at the same time and therefore we are unable to update your status with the NCR System.
If however you did send the cancellation request in January as indicated, please kindly forward that correspondence to me in order to rectify the matter and update your status accordingly.
The Form 17.4 (cancellation letter) has been e-mailed to you once again today.
Your complaint should however be against the NCR. This is a matter that is out of our control. We will however do our best to assist you.
