clearance certificate delay
<p>adcap/debtsafe was handling my debts and i managed to settle all my bebt and now i am struggling to get a clearance certfificate for 1 account i had. </p> <p> had an account with mtn that was refereed to mbd, so i settled the account and got a settlement letter from MTN but apparently the reference number from MTN and MBD is not the same rather the first letter is not the same starting letter which is delaying this process and i am really gettting frustrated as my account manger is not replying to my emails now. i called MBD and they said my account with them is closed so thye cannot send anything from thier side so i need to contact MTN but i got a settlement letter from MTN and the person who sent it to me is not replying any of my emails wheni enquired about this reference number mix up,i am not getting any joy from anyone and its almsot two months now, i am really irritatted. </p>
I refer to our telephonic conversation and we report the following.
Unfortunately we cannot issue the Clearance Certificate (Form 19) without all the paid up letters and the account numbers must correspond with the account numbers that we have on your payment plan.
We depend on the cooperation of the creditors to successfully finalise the matter. All the paid up letters have to be sent to the NCR and credit bureaux’s with the Clearance Certificate.
As confirmed with you telephonically yesterday afternoon the Clearance Certificate will be issued today, the debt review flag will be removed and your name will be cleared.
