Being placed under debt review

I decided to join this companies program and registered me and my wife under debt review. I later decided that I don't want to be on the program anymore and I will get ourselves out of our mess through another manner. Just to add. After signing up I cancelled and I didn't pay a cent towards the program. I received an email that it was cancelled, but we would remain under debt review until all our debts are paid up in full. I just feel that seeing that I did cancel and didn't pay a cent towards this how can they have the right to keep us under debt review. It's like going to a shop to have a look at stuff and still get charged for it but you don't get the stuff. I just want our names off of debt review. I am not good at typing everything. If hellopeter can contact me I will be more than able to explain my situation in full. We going into a new year and I just need to get things right from now onwards. Thanks
