Dept scan; did things without my knowledge.

I was contacted by Dept Scan on 19 May 2025. They promised me lower installments and lower interest rates on my car finance and other accounts. When I asked about cancellation fees I was told there were none.

I agreed and signed their document based on those promises.

However they have since:

• Demanded R600 per month for insurance fees I never agreed to • Demanded R1500 cancellation fee despite promising no cancellation fees • Enrolled me onto a funeral policy without my knowledge or consent • Placed me under debt review without my full informed consent — which has been confirmed by the NCR

They never sent me the documents I requested from them.

I have reported this matter to the NCR and I am currently being assisted. I am sharing this to warn others — do not sign anything with Dept Scan. They make promises they do not keep and they will lock you into agreements you never fully agreed to.

I have evidence including WhatsApp messages and SMS communication.
