Beware of Debt Scan ****

Debt Scan called me promising to lower and fix my monthly home loan repayments. That they were authorised by the National Credit Regulator to do so cause I had paid too much interest already, they even sent me their NCR credentials. They did not tell me they were going to put me under debt review and the implications. They signed me up on a Friday I then realised what I had done the following Monday. When I confronted them on Monday morning they confirmed my fears and told me it was too to reverse the sign up.

Now they say I have to pay a R1500 cancellation fee for what I did not want in the first place.
