Terrible feedback time and response time

I have been a client with debt rescue since January 2017. They were great at assisting me to sign up, and now that I am a full on client, they are ridiculous in responding to queries that we might have or to requests.

My father is also with debt rescue, and we have been experiencing major issues with them the past few months. Firstly when you call, nobody wants to assist you, but then you get to a senior person and you find out that the assistance is possible. Secondly, the agreed payments that you make towards them every month is not being paid correctly to your creditors, and then you are ITC listed due to non payment or short payment or even late payment. My husband and I are married out of community of property, and both of us with my father own a property. My father and I are under debt review, and because my father had other debt with the home loan bank, they had to forcefully place the home loan under debt review.

Now the bank has ITC listed my husband due to short / non payment, even though we pay debt rescue an amount every month as agreed with the bank. The bank has indicated that they don't pay them the agreed amount and has now listed my husband because he is not under review.

I notified debt rescue and their response is shortly that WE should sort it out with the bank ourselves.

I've also been having an issue with my FNB account as it is not being paid by Debt Rescue and they promised to assist me in sorting it out, but I have now waited more than 2 weeks to hear from them. when I phone, the person that I spoke to does not want to speak to me and they put the phone down in my ear. I'm at my wits end with Debt Rescue!

Once again I am in the same situation. I have been a client for 2 years (since Jan 2017) and was on maternity leave for 3 months (May 2017 to Aug 2017). My FNB loan was removed under debt review in this time, and I've spoken to a number of people at debt rescue to assist in reactivation this debt review. FNB has since deducted money from my husband's account for this debt payment and refuse to assist me with sorting this out. I'm so sorry I EVER agreed to use debt rescue and I will never ever promote them to anyone else. Problem is I am now in so much debt since signing up with them, and I am completely alone in the matter. Debt rescue never ever intend on being loyal to their clients, they only sign them up to get money out of them. Im now seeking another debt counselor to assist me in getting the matter solved and also spreading the news that debt rescue is terrible in keeping their clients happy.

Reference is made to the above complaint lodged in September 2017 and again in December 2018. During the the current 2020 lock-down period, I have been contacted by FNB again to notify me that my debt review has been cancelled, and my loan account is in arrears. This is now the 3rd time this happens since I've been a client with Debt Rescue! I am above frustrated at this point in time as I'm at home and not able to physically go to Debt Rescue offices to sort this matter out again - which seems the ONLY way of sorting problems of this proportion out. If I contact Debt Rescue I'm told that I'm being diverted to an alternative Department. If I call FNB Loans Department directly, they tell me that I need to contact their Debt Review Department - which then tells me that I'm miss-informed and that should contact the Loans Department. I will be lodging a Hello Peter Complaint for FNB as well, but definitely looking for an alternative debt counselor to manage my profile so that I'm able to receive individual attention and assistance with the Bank in future.
