QUICK TO CHANGE INDICATOR WHEN YOU SIGN ON, BUT WHAT HAPPENS AFTERWARDS IS A NIGHTMARE IN ITSELF!!!
Firstly with no help from Debt rescue, I paid off all 7 of my accounts of which a court order was granted. "Yeah me". I cancelled their services and opted to do my arrangements with my creditors myself, I settled all of them in August 2018 with the exception of one, I paid the last one off in October 2018. I then sent notification to Debt rescue that all my debts had been settled and I require a clearance certificate because although I terminated the service with them I was still legally bound to get a clearance certificate from them as they were the debt councillor captured on my profile. They sent me the Clearance certificate on the 13 November 2018. Anyway today is the 11th of December 2018 and I have waited 28 days for the “debt review’ indicator to be removed from my name, and yes, they going to tell me they have already sent notification to the bureau’s to remove the indicator, but that does not make it any better or relieve them of their duties, when you sign up with Debt Rescue, within a few days your credit profile is updated to reflect “debt review” status, now according to the NCAA, the bureaus have 5 days within which to remove the “debt review” status. I feel as quick as Debt rescue facilitates that indicator change upon sign up, so should the urgency be when you have been rehabilitated.
I feel debt rescue is a complete waste of time and energy, and really play with people’s lives. I have not had a pleasant experience with them ever and I doubt I ever will.
