Promises promises...

<p>Promises, this is all that these people ever do, they make promises and just do not deliver. About 20 months ago I placed myself under debt review with the idea of getting all my debt paid up as soon as possible. For the last twenty months I have been saving up and getting things into place so that I can settle all my accounts this coming week and be debt free. Before I started this journey I was a bit sceptic and really asked them, Debt Rescue, just about every question I could think of to cover all my concerns. The answers I received were all in the line of:</p> <p> </p> <p>We can protect you.</p> <p>We will give you peace of mind.</p> <p>You will not be phoned any more.</p> <p>We negotiate interest rates.</p> <p>We supply you with an accurate statement on your balances each month.</p> <p>Together we will help you become debt free.</p> <p> </p> <p>Awesome… That is what I needed. So I made the decision and did everything exactly as Debt Rescue wanted me.</p> <p> </p> <p>About 3 months ago when I started preparing to settle my balance I realised with a massive shock that my debt has increased on my FNB account by R21000.00 over the last 20 months. This did not reflect on the statement that I receive from Hyphen/Debt Rescue each month. I contacted Debt Rescue and logged a complaint, after a few weeks of hearing nothing, I contacted them again and again and again and this has been going on for about three months now and still nothing has been done, nothing has been reversed, nothing has been corrected, no apology, nothing…only empty, worth nothing, promises.</p> <p> </p> <p>We will get back to you sir.</p> <p>I have escalated the queries sir.</p> <p>My manager is looking at it sir.</p> <p>My manager will contact you sir.</p> <p> </p> <p>Promises promises….</p> <p> </p> <p>I want to settle all my accounts by Thursday 20 October 2016, but with this absolutely horrible service I do not know if I will be able to do this.</p> <p> </p> <p>I would not recommend this company to anyone, simply because, in the experience I had, they made promises and just did not deliver. They sold me the idea of becoming debt free and in the end my FNB account is worse off.</p> <p> </p> <p>And…not one of the so called “managers” has even had the decency of giving me a call.</p> <p> </p> <p>Thanks guys….</p>
