No update on DHS system after clearance
After finally getting a clearance certificate, you would think that your life is about to get back on track. Think again. There is a change that has to be made on the DHS system at the NCR. Seems this step is absolutely impossible for them to do. After telling me it was done and my name is cleared, the bureau tells me it still shows as under debt review. This has been going on for a month. No matter how many emails are sent, nothing happens. Logging a complaint with the NCR is going to take more time. Something so simple made impossible.

This was a mail I received after I logged the initial message.:
"Kindly be advised I tried to call you with regards to the hello peter complaint received but there was no answer. We do apologise for the delay with regards to the matter, kindly be advised for our offices to be able to update the NCR-DHS system you need to be listed with the correct Debt Counsellor and you are currently not listed with our offices, however we have requested for the NCR to assist in transferring your profile on the DHS system for our offices to update the status. Once the NCR has accepted our request, we will update your status and advise you accordingly. "
In these type of issues, the rule is "never written never said" to make sure there is proof of all communications.
It is surely not my issue that there are different offices. This is the internet age. Information flows rapidly so this should take a maximum of a few hours to resolve.
