No financial help from deb rescue

I started with debt rescue a few months ago. I was under the impression that debt rescue knows what I can afford and what not, I was also under the impression that debt rescue can protect me against creditors. Why would you guys send me counter offers from the creditors if you know how much I can afford?? You guys also warn me against what can happen if I decline these offers? I get scared and I accept these counter offers. Now all of a sudden I pay the same amount per month than I would have before debt review, what is the use then???? I can now barely afford my monthly living expenses AGAIN!
