I've been placed under debt review during the application phase

I seemed to have been put under debt review during the application phase. I withdrew from debt review before the 17.2 form was issued and yet it seems like I have been placed under debt review on my credit report. I haven't signed any other form except the application form (Form 16). My application was sent on the 25th and I was immediately put under debt review on the 25th before any determination was done by a debt counsellor. A 17.W form has been sent to the creditors yet it still shows on my credit report.

What can I do to completely get this removed from my name? Like it never happened.

Good day,

Thank you for affording us an opportunity to assist with your enquiry.

Please be advised that your application was processed accordingly as required by the National Credit Regulator. On receipt of your Form 16 and consent to go ahead with the debt review process we submitted your application on the National Debt Help System. This is a necessary process which indicates that you have submitted an application for debt review and same is being assessed. Creditors were in turn notified of your application.

We have withdrawn you from debt review and updated the National Debt Help System again to indicate that we will not proceed with an assessment of over indebtedness. We will contact you shortly to clarify the above information.

Regards,

Debt Rescue Team
