I went under debt review shortly after COVID. I eventually ended up paying all the creditors myself. I have been sent from Pillar to post, each time a different person, had to send the same documents multiple times. I've asked multiple times for ALL the information they need from me so I can get my clearance certificate and clear my name, I get everything they ask me. And guess what a few days later they ask for more. And a few days after that they ask for more again. I have had to take time off work to get these documents each and every time, I have sat on the phone for hours on end trying to get these documents. I am angry now. I have paid all my creditors, sent the proof of payments as well as the paid up letters I have received. I am sick and tired of being messed around. This experience has been hell on earth and I would strongly advise anyone to steer very clear of Debt Rescue South Africa.
