Hostage with Under debt review listing, but I am no longer under debt review
I had some bad luck financially around- 10-14 years ago and decided to render the assistance of debt rescue. My accounts were taken over by them and my payments went to them to deal with pestering business not wanting to negotiate with me. Debt rescue handled my financial situation for about 4 years and my financial situation changed since then so I contacted Debt rescue and discussed the option to default and remove myself from debt rescue to personally handle once off payments to institutions I was in debt with. Now all my debt is payed up with exception to my house installments. Recently, after 10-14 years not worrying about credit ratings, I wanted to open an account and there it was Under debt review still. No institution wants to finance me nor give me accounts. I contacted Debt rescue offices and was told that I will have to get the businesses I owed to provide me with settlement letters and find a lawyer to assist me to go to court and get a clearance order from a judge and then only will they proceed to remove the debt review listing from my credit record. I have a lot of respect for debt rescue and the company, who assisted me when I was in trouble, but as soon as I moved away from them. now, they hold me ransom with the debt review listing on my credit record. I thought they would be more understanding and passionate for the fact that they had part in my transformation and now that I am debt free, they refuse to remove the debt review listing against my name. I have no information about the companies I owed and listed with Debt rescue so that I can approach them for these letters. Debt rescue refuse to provide me with a printout on the companies I listed with them. I remember 2 or 3 companies, but those companies were settled while I was still with Debt rescue. Please If there is anyone that can assist me with guidance what to do next, I will appreciate it. I might be debt free but expensive lawyers and Attorneys is still out of my affordability range.

Thank you for reverting back to me regarding this matter. Please know that it is not my intention nor my wish to bad mouth any one or any company. I am glad that someone will be attending to my plea. I am trying get finance to purchase a car and debt review listing blocks me from enjoying my life being debt free.

What really would it take to get action on this matter. It does not help the fact that I am not informed by Debt rescue what steps are now been taken and how long it will be before a consultant will provide feedback. I am being left to form my own judgement on your services which is not good.

I have actioned all the request from Debt rescue regarding PUL's and still they are looking for reasons to unfairly punish me by keeping the blacklisting against my name.
I cannot help if some companies do not exist anymore to provide me with PUL's and all the others have responded and provided PUL's. Now it has become my problem again according to Debt rescue on account numbers not matching their systems account numbers. These institutions have used my ID number to draw records and I have submitted the letters as they gave to me.
My Salary grade is now being affected due to lack of action from some Debt rescue team members. I do not now what to do any more but source legal advice against Debt rescue to remove my name as I am not indebted to any of the companies they listed.
