Helpless & Frustrated

Although Debt Rescue really did help me initially, I have been making a concerted effort to try pay off all my accounts. I sent the proof of payments through to debt rescue and then the feedback they give is that they are waiting for credit providers to respond with updates. This just never seems to happen so I then took it upon myself to contact the credit providers directly and get these updates myself. Slowly (very slowly) and only after I follow up with debt rescue and the credit provider - do I get anywhere. I thought debt rescue were supposed to "take over your financial burdens so you can relax". I am probably more stressed out than ever.

Then I send proof of payments and paid up letters and confirmations from the creditors saying they have recieved payment and debt rescue don't update my balances. I have paid a very large sum of money toward my debt this month and it feels like I have got absolutely nowhere. And it's quite honestly extremely fightening and stressful knowing debt rescue will just take off the installment and distribute it to a creditor who is paid in full - simply because they feel they haven't recieved enough confirmation it has been paid and/or "they are still waiting for an updated balance from creditor". It's just not acceptable - why can they not retrieve these balances? What is the problem? Surely dealing with so many cases, debt rescue would have built up some kind of relationship and know who to contact?

I hate to complain but I am actually left with no choice. At this rate debt rescue will put me in more debt and in a worse and not better financial situation. All I want to do is pay my accounts and sort out my debt problem and I feel like debt rescue are a hurdle in this process.

At the very least it would be extremely helpful if my balances were updated correctly.

I know everyone there is probably sick of me - I feel like I have dealt with a million different consultants (which is also not helpful as you never know who to speak to).

It has taken 3 weeks to get to this point and soon debit orders will once again be scheduled and balances incorrect.

Official

Good day,

Thank you for your enquiry and giving us an opportunity to assist.

We acknowledge your concerns and would like to clarify that it is standard practice that we need a paid up letter to ensure that the creditor also confirms settlement of an account before we exclude it for payment. The creditors normally respond to these requests between 5 -10 working days and in some instances it takes longer.

We will contact you shortly to assist further.

Regards,

Debt Rescue Team

Best regards,
