All I can say is just avoid this company at all costs and it's what I've been saying for the last 2 years of being with them. All the praise in some of the positive reviews are more than likely friends of the people mentioned. I've had phone calls from attorneys saying the creditors haven't been paid for nearly 6 weeks (finally they've stopped). I've had my balances change because Debt Rescue admit to not knowing the actual totals owing and rather estimate what is owed. I've nearly doubled my debit order to 1. Get through this debt review quicker and 2. To be done with Debt Rescue. From creditors saying they don't get paid and being harassed by attorneys, not responding to e-mails about balances going from R0 for 8 months to R4000 all of sudden, not being able to set up creditors with actual amounts owing, overpaying on my 1 creditor by over R1000 which Debt Rescue wasn't even aware of which was pointed out to them by me, this company should not be allowed to assist people with Debt reviews because quite frankly they just can't. Their automated response to complaints is "It is never our intention to cause you any frustration" but that is exactly what they do. I have not had an issue with bad attitudes or rude customer service but rather just a lack of actually being able to help a person. While they have been able to assist with some minor issues which I've happily removed other negative reviews, they just don't seem able to help their clients the way other Debt Review companies can, something that I've witnessed with friends of mine using different companies. It's for all of the above reasons that I've lodged a complaint with the NCR regarding this debt counsellor.
