Debt Rescue - extremely bad customer service

Do not use Debt Rescue for your debt counselling process.

I queried the close-out of this process in December 2021. Debt Rescue advised that they've requested paid-up letters - an action which should've been done during the process, i.e. requesting immediately from creditor as soon as the account was paid up. It seems that Debt Rescue does not keep your file updated with important info like this.

Apart from advising about paid-up letters, I am still waiting for Debt Rescue to engage with me, their client about the close-out process. There are specific certificates and letters to be issued.

Communications from Debt Rescue was poor during this whole debt counselling process.

Debt Rescue is quick to get you to sign on and then leaves you as the client in limbo when the process has to be closed out. A process which took 5.5 years to complete (because Debt Rescue did a poor job of initial negotiations with creditors) is now being dragged out and it will soon be 6 years.
