Continued bad service and communication
This is an ongoing issue about the debt clearance process /service provided by Debt Rescue.
On 16 February, after I've reported Debt Rescue on Hello Peter twice, their Clearance dept advised it would take 2-3 business days to receive the signed clearance from the Commissioner of Oaths. Debt Rescue, as usual, has not communicated whether this was done. We are now 7 business days down the line.
They also advised that it would then be sent to all the Credit Bureaus and then Debt Rescue "wash their hands" off this case as they claim they cannot do anything to ensure the credit bureaus act in good faith to update their systems.
Debt Rescue should ensure that they close out this debt counselling process in a proper way, provide the service they claim to provide - up to the point of ensuring their client's clearance is also completed by the credit bureaus. This is in the 1st place why a company like Debt Rescue gets approached for help.
