Confirmation Message *Business Name:* Debt Rescue South Africa *Rating:* 1 out of 5 *Review:* My husband and I have been under debt review with Debt Rescue since September 2021. The process was simple and straightforward. Every month, the installment amount was collected on time and I could see on the consumer statement that the funds were distributed to creditors. Now in July/August 2025 and my husband is SERVED A SUMMONS AT WORK for apparent non-payment of his car to Standard Bank!! When I contacted Debt Rescue to find out what the hell is going on, they can’t understand either as it shows that funds have been distributed to Standard Bank. I get an email from Debt Rescue with the response from Standard Bank that I say they have terminated the account due to non-payment! Standard bank won’t reinstate the account. They said they cannot as the summons has been served. Now we’re told we must pay an additional R4000 to them to cover the arrears. This has caused us a lot of distress.
