Beware of bad client service

I would not recommend Debt Rescue to anyone. The last 6 months of my debt review has been a complete nightmare. They overpay creditors and then fees are deducted from the refunds. One month they missed paying a creditor but made an overpayment of R1,800.00 to a creditor that was paid off.

They don't reply to your questions directly and you end up having to ask the same question over and over. I would recommend that their clients get their own paid-up letters from the creditors as this is something their staff seem to struggle with.

The only reason I am giving them 3 stars is that there are two staff members who actually went out of their way to assist me.

Marlize van Wyk assisted with refunds and by the time my emails landed in her inbox I was very frustrated.

Ashnie Naidoo assisted me in the last two weeks with the finalisation of my debt review.
