Debt-Mate debt review company punishes me for taking back the power to pay off my credit card debt at Absa

Thank you for the opportunity. On the 1st of February, I wrote the following letter, and I have not received any response:

Good day,

I have attached 2 documents for your reference requesting Sudeer Joseph to please revisit my credit score report and provide a truthful assessment report.

The attached letter from Nimble Credit Solutions dated 2024-07-19 confirms the account settlement agreement with Absa.

The credit card with Absa, the only debt I had, had therefore been cleared. I know that if I stayed with Debt Mate, I would still be indebted. Evidence can be seen in the several email conversations I have had with Debt Mate concerning the matter.

In five working days, I will check my credit score again to see if the Sudeer Joseph report concerning my credit status has changed to reflect the truth.

Thank you for your assistance.

Regards,

Joyce Sukumane. ID: ***.

It saddens me to have to write this kind of review. However, I feel that I have to because I believe that to not revisit the bad report was done in bad faith, to punish me because I pulled out to pay the dbt myself realising that I would never pay off Absa. I would never encourage people to subscribe to this company.

I do apologize for the in conveniences caused by Debt Mate. Kindly note that as per the Debt Review Process your term increases as your monthly instalment decreases hence that is the reason accounts take longer to be paid up on Debt Review. Kindly note that once a client goes on Debt Review the credit bureaus are updated accordingly, however in order for our offices to update the departments accordingly you will need to provide our offices with a paid up letter once we receive the paid up letter we start the clearance process and update all credit bureaus accordingly. Kindly note that when a client exits Debt Review their credit score drops down to 0 which allows you to start afresh and build your credit profile again. For any further questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us on *** for any assistance you may require.
