Is Debt-In a legal company or just thirsty for money?
Lately I've been bombarded with emails from Debt-in. They've been hounding me for a Telkom account that needs to be paid.
At first they offered me some type of discount should I pay R100. That to me didn't make sense I wasn't even shown a statement. I responded to them that I can't pay for something I'm not shown for based on what I owe. They then emailed me again with the same offer in January of 2021...again I voiced my concern and annoyance to them.
They then told me to email a Nokuthula Ntanjani and gave her my reference number. Only then was given my statement. I then told them that I'll pay the money in half in April not this month(February) and not in March as I have other priorities to attend to.
So no response from Nokuthula and so I continue with my life. Then I received another email from Debt-In this time it's a final notice with a dose of a legal threat. Honestly I feel bul**** by the whole process. From wanting to "help" me and then threatened me legal action in a space of a month or two??
Well....this then means Debt-In is pushing me into a corner of me not caring about their threats...let alone they're ways of operating. I have a question....is Debt-In recognised by the NCR? Because the way they're conducting business screams ******* to me.
