I received a call from the number ***, where the consultant claimed to be representing NCR and stated that I was being overcharged interest by my creditors. When I asked who those creditors were, she said she would check and asked for my consent, which I granted. She mentioned Nedbank (for my mortgage) and Capitec and suggested referring me to a senior consultant for further assistance. I expressed my belief that I wasn't being overcharged since Nedbank adjusts my bond repayments according to interest rate changes. Despite her attempts to convince me otherwise, I told her I didn't trust the company and asked her to send me an email instead. After our call, I received a text indicating that I had consented to a request for my credit profile for an affordability assessment. I would like to officially state that I am not looking for credit; I prefer to pay for nearly everything in cash, and I don't need debt management services. I'm satisfied with my current interest rates and my payment history, having never missed a payment, which makes this situation feel strange.

I have not received any email from them, but I am incredibly worried about what this company is capable of.
