Recently I have decided and agreed to go under debt mediation with Debt Clear SA.

When discussing and selling me the idea of this I was hesitant however the only thing they were good at was selling me the service, however when it came to honoring there word for the service they would provide it surely was null and void.

The team had all my details and had over a month to sort out all my profile information as well as contact my creditors to arrange the debit order stop and indicate to them the new payment plan moving forward.

I was informed in the first week that this would all be sorted ensuring that at the end of the next month that I will have ONE debit order that would cover everything. When the first week passed I was not notified of any update even tho I have requested it.

Over the next 4 weeks I’ve battled to contact there management as well as the sales agent who assisted me and when finally getting a response form one of the managers Emillio he just got somone new to call me each time who ended up always having something different to say. One agent who called me even sounded Depressed and totally uninterested of the financial stress I was being pleased under to a point where I had even asked her if she is okay on the call and her response was “I am dealing with a lot at the moment”.

Coming from customer service myself, that is now how you handle or deal with any customer at all. Work is work, your personal life stays off the call for that few minutes.

So now not only am I scheduled to be debited by Debt Clear SA but I am also scheduled to be debited by all my creditors as well therefore immediately sending my account into a minus.

They constantly say they will call back, or they will update me soon via email but come on now, an entire month to sort this out with no result.

I’ve placed my finances and debt in there hands only for it to backfire. Setting me back even further.

I would never recommend this company to anyone at all and rather seek other financial assistance.
