DON'T TRUST DEBT CHECK....

My case is such

In 2016 I done this application with a company called debt check. At that time just done an enquiry and never had much accounts. You could say that my accounts were approx. R50K plus minus

So this guy Ashley who is the CEO of this company called and so nicely convinced me to sign up with them stating that he will lower my payment

Silly me and not knowing much I signed up only to know that this company is taking away my freedom

I however cancelled them and asked them to not proceed however they quickly done everything and listed me. I could no longer apply for any accounts and could do nothing

I have since called them so many times trying to get my information and to date they have given me no information

They are holding all my information back. They are not telling who I owe and what I owe. I do not see what is so difficult. They promised to have given me my clearance certificate after I have paid them, please see e-mail attached. I gave them all my proof of payment and paid up letters.

They only email I got is a e-mail were I needed to pay them so get my clearance letter which I even done. In 2016 I cancelled this once I knew what they are all about. I also further to that called Ashley to advise him. I did not have much accounts to my name. I never even owe any company more than R10K. They used me to do the application only to get money out of me. They said the notified my creditors but never even done that.

In 2016 he kept mailing me to make payment.

Hence I now need to apply for a home loan and I started working towards my credit score and realized that these people still got me listed. I contacted the company and Ashley sent me an email stating that I need to pay and he will give me the clearance letter

I asked him what accounts I still owe and till today he gave me nothing. So I contacted Transunion and they gave me the details. I then paid up whoever I owe. I have the paid up letters and proof of payment even the payment I made to Ashley.

I have then called Debt Check every single day thereafter and Ashley never takes my calls, they do not want to give me any information regarding my account. All the admin lady (Valarie) says is she is trying her best

Why are they keeping my own information, they accepted the payment and till now has not assisted me. I worked hard to get myself in order and get my accounts in order. I am single mother and I wasted all this money and I get no assistance from this company

please do not come tell me that nonsense that i still owe people because if i did still owe you guys would have by now provided me with the information instead of just taking my money and hiding. If ashley was so concerned about me he would have by now called me or emailed me like when he kept following up on payment. after the payment was made you guys know nothing what to do. People need to stay away from you guys. You first give a very good impression. Why take my money if you guys cannot give me information about my own account. You stated on the email pay and u will get your letter in 5 days. I am taking this to highest authority so people are aware of what you guys do.
