Good day,
We had 100 % acceptance from all your credit providers. During the COVID period you could not pay your accounts according to the final acceptances.  We sent a Form 17.3 (change of circumstances) to all your creditors which gave you 3 - 6 months relief of non payment.  They have subsequently terminated because payment was still not forth coming.  We have presented you with an option to pay via the attorney's which you were  also not able to do, hence the summons received.  Should you require further clarity on the above, please feel free in contacting our offices, as we have previously explained all of this to you.

Best regards,

RG

Good day Ms Reitumetse;

We have liaised with all your creditors on your change of circumstances regarding your reduced / no income via the Form 17.3 (change of circumstances) process which you were notified of as well.  Your creditors generally allows for an approximate 3 - 6 months of non payment / partial payment (April - September).  Your creditors are not obligated to accept the partial / non payment.

When you returned in November; the bank had already terminated your account and started the legal process. Once you started working again and paying; the amount you were paying was less than your original installment.  This partial payment was not enough to cover the vehicle, let alone your other creditors (this was also communicated to you).  We tried to re-negotiate a lesser installment which the bank declined and insisted that we bring the arrears up to date first.  You were unable to do so or unable to meet the demands / requests from the attorneys; therefore they continued with issuing you with a summons.

This is an unfortunate position you are left in; however it is not Debt Check's call to make to have your accounts reinstated.  The bank is also not obligated to reinstate your account.  If you are able to pay according to the accepted installment; and pay extra towards the arrears as discussed, then it is very difficult to assist you as explained in previous communication to you.

Should you still need further clarity; please feel free in communicating this with our offices.

Best regards,
