CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE ISSUE
I paid my last account in full on the 20th July 2021 and sent all the proof of payments to Debt Check for them to provide with Clearance Certificate. I was told that they need the paid up letter of which I forwarded to Ashley plus the Credit report showing that the account is closed. Ashley called last week and promised to send the Certificate, since then he went awol. I called the reception yesterday and I was told that Ashley is the only person authorized to issue the Certificate however, he is off sick. Even today, he is still not at work and they are not sure when he is returning. My concern is, out of the whole company, how can 1 person be the only one with mandate to authorize the Certificate meaning that if something happens to him we will be stuck under debt review forever. This is a risk to all Debt Check customers if something happens to the authority of the company, Ashley. I need my Clearance Certificate ASAP and cannot wait for Ashley to feel better because there should be a second in charge in case things like this happen. If I don't get assistance soonest I will have to report him to NCR and involve my lawyers.

20 Aug 2021, 15:50We do apologize that you the process of issuing the clearance certificate has taken sometime. The process we follow is that once we received all paid up letters, and your outstanding fees are up to date, we will issue your clearance certificate to you. You will need to get this commissioned; and once this is returned to our office we will issue it to all credit bureau's within 5 days. It will take approximately 6 weeks the credit bureau's to uplift the debt review flag from your ID.

20 Aug 2021, 19:17Since I commissioned my clearance certificate, it hasn't been actioned in 10 days meaning the 6 weeks will not be possible as well. I am tired already and need this to be done with. Sending emails doesn't help, they are just being ignored.
