DISRESPECT AND WORST SERVICE EVER
Yet again, I have had one of the worst experience with Debonairs Pizza Alex Mall. On Thursday 27 August 2026, I ordered the On The Double Pizza Special (R179.90) at around 19h25 (Order # ***). I tracked the order and realised that for about 30 minutes there was no movement. After about an hour, I called into the Alex Mall branch, where I had placed my order, to follow up on what was happening. I gave my details to the first lady who answered the phone, she then gave the phone to another person, who said to me my order was running late as the delivery guy had an accident. When I proceeded to find out on why I was informed or on how long will it take, this is when the guy started shouting at me. He rudely asked if I was still wanted my pizza and said it had just come out of the oven (but previously he said the delivery guy had an accident), and he was shouting at me. When I was asked why he was shouting at me and how long would it still take, he shouted back and hung up on me. I tried several times to call back but my calls were cut or ignored. I therefore tried the national call centre line, gave the agent my details and my complaint and asked that this matter be addressed, as it was not the first time that I experienced rudeness, and delay in delivery. Nobody has called me back since. When I looked at my app, they have updated my order as delivered and yet it was never delivered. This is the last time I am ever buying from Debonairs Alex Mall, and I would discourage anyone from going there. There is simply no customer service, instead you get disrespected and delay on delivery. There is no accountability and no discipline at that branch. Everyone does as they please. It's so disappointing and gives the whole Debonairs brand a bad name

Served pizza wraps with green chilli instead of Jalapeños
Very disappointing experience at Debonairs Pizza Alex Mall. I ordered the Creamy Beef Pizza Wraps with jalapeños and waited 45 minutes for my order. No one bothered to tell me there was a delay or apologize for the long wait. When I finally received my food, the order was wrong. Instead of jalapeños, they used green chillies. They are not the same, and customers should not have to accept incorrect ingredients. I regularly buy from the Sandton Mall branch and have always received good service, so this was a huge disappointment. The Alex Mall branch is letting the Debonairs brand down with poor customer service, poor communication, and inaccurate orders. I hope management addresses these issues because this experience was unacceptable.

Bad service
I was humiliated by debonairs staff at Alex mall. 1. They dont were name tags 2. They said they dont have a manager, they are all managers 3. The cashier insulted me infront of my son just for asking if my order was ready, she rep**** by saying waiting time is 1 hour and should stop asking. 4. They have lunch at the front infront of customers. 5. My order was cold. My order was 97 at 13.33. 30 June 2026 Im never buying there again, they are saying foreigners must go but their service was better than the one we receive from our people. Maybe they should be properly train them on customer service.
