DISMISSED WHILE DOING MY JOB AND MADE TO PAY THE DAMAGE AS WELL.
Good evening. On 30th April 2024 I was dismissed because I scratched a customer's watch while trying to put a new battery at work. On 24 May I did not receive any money from all my leave days and I am told that the money is used to pay the damages.
I am a father of 4 and now sitting at home looking for a new job.
I am desperately asking for help because I feel I was unfairly dismissed and made to pay for the incident.

27 May 2024, 11:24Dear Matome. I'm truly sorry you feel that the reason your where dismissed was of the damaged you caused to a customer's watch, but according to your disciplinary hearing that was not the only reason. We trust and hope you find employment soon.

I do not have a problem with being dismissed from the company ,but my concern is why did you take the money from all my leave days without my consent and said I must pay for the watch I scratched while putting in a new battery? Did you take the money because you had access to it before me? I've asked you to return the money.
