Dean H Singh Carports

<p>A Mr Dean H Singh (cell number ********** 722/ e-mail address ********** posted an adverti*****t for carports on Gumtree early in February 2017 (which has since been removed).</p> <p>We contacted him on 08 February 2017 and received a quote for the installation of a carport in Goodwood, Western Cape, that same day. We accepted immediately and was requested to pay a 50% deposit.</p> <p>The deposit was paid into his account in good faith, and proof of payment was forwarded to him on 10 February 2017 (via e-mail).</p> <p>On 17 February 2017, after several whatsapp messages to him to confirm the date, he confirmed the installation for 27 February 2017.</p> <p>He did not pitch and after sending him another whatsapp msg he informed us that he was in Durban as his mother had passed away. He would only be able to install after 16 days of prayer, but would refund us if we so wanted.</p> <p>We immediately requested him to refund us. To date, 29 March 2017, we have not received the refund.</p> <p>My husband sent him several whatsapp messages regarding the refund, but he was unresponsive and would not answer his cell phone.</p> <p>To date the deposit has not been refunded. He has taken our money without delivering any service.</p> <p>He is an unreliable and ************* businessman with no intergrity, keen to take on the job and your money, but there after could not care less about a customer.</p> <p>We feel compelled to make other people aware of the above and to prevent them from losing money in this way.</p> <p> </p>
