Incorrect product received and lead by the nose for MONTHS
I visited the Dealhub in Constantia Kloof last in September 2022. I met a salesperson with the name of Sello who assisted me in ordering a Bamboo Leather Acrylic Desktop Lazer Engraver and Cutting machine (20W). I paid by card after I was assured that I will have the machine after six weeks. On the 16th of November I sent Sello a message to find out what the progress on my order was. On the 14th of December (after several messages to Sello) I was informed that the machine I ordered was no longer available but Dealhub was going to order me a Sculpfun S9 90W machine and that although this machines' price was higher I did not need to worry about the difference as Dealhub would be paying the difference because of the long waiting period. I asked about a refund but was ensured that this was a much better machine. On the 3rd of January after more messages I got the tracking number. On the 31st of January I was notified that my machine arrived. I went to the Constantia Kloof office again and waited there from 9am to 12.30pm for them to help with the assembling of the machine just to realize that the machine was a 5W. I was upset and was told that Mr. N Buthelesi is looking into the matter. I was then informed that there must've been a mistake at the supplier with the packaging, so "someone got the machine you ordered and you got the machine someone else ordered" just in the meantime use the one you got. Mr. Buthelezi then told me in person he is ordering the 90W at that moment and that the delivery would take about 2 weeks. Sello had the one excuse after the other and eventually stopped replying to my messages. This has now been carrying on for months, I then once again went to the office on the 16th of May. Neither Sello or Mr. Buthelezi was available. I met up with Diketso. Diketso communicated with Mr. Buthelezi via whatsapp whilst I was in the office. I was informed that a new machine was ordered. On the 22nd of May I received a message that I would still get the international tracking number in that week. Nothing happened. On the 2nd of June I was informed that there's stock issues and that I can get a refund or store credit. It sometimes took days or several messages before I had any reply on my messages. On Tuesday 02 June I sent Diketso message that I would be taking the machine to the office that afternoon and that he must arrange for my refund. I was then just told that I must send a mail to the Dealhuv customer service and that the product consultant was informed and he will advice on the next step. My question now is: Why do I have to go trough all these channels if I didn't have any problems when I had to pay for the machine I ordered. Why must I be the one riding up and down because they do no deliver what they promise. How can they put promised in writing (I have all the messages) but then just back out? How many people loose their money because of situations like this?
