illigal software, bad consulting

i recently baught a dell laptop from this company explaining that i was looking for this make and model laptop with the intent to upgrade and re sell. they pointed me to a company whom does all there repairs and upgrades to do the upgrade and there after gave me a warentee on the said laptop. the company who they sent me to did the upgrade on hard ware, but noticed that the laptop was faulty and not only was it faulty, but it had no software licence which is elligal. they refuse to repair or refund the laptop and say it is because the warranty is void because of the upgrade, but the upgrade was made by their people. the said company's owner and manager did not only give bad service, they insulted me in every way regarding business wise and tried to make me out to be stupid. the fact that they sold me a laptop with no licence and illigal software alone is un business wise.... i honestly would suggest to all their clients to tripple check anything they buy there and then re-check again. this company's warrentee's and guarentee's and their word does not mean anything.
