UNPREFESSIONAL TREATMENT

On 11 August 2020 I had an appointment with the above optometrist and presented my medical aid card to them. I received a pair of spectacles through them a couple of years ago and wanted to have a check up. After the test I had to find out that my medical aid will not pay the eye test as De Witt Optometrist has been taken from their panel. My believe is that I should have been informed before the test was done as they should know which medical aids is part of their panel. I received an invoice to the amount of R650-00 which I paid, but was not happy the way I was treated in that I should have been warned that my medical aid will not pay for the test. I have sent email to query if I could be refunded on 28 Aug, 1,14 and 28 September 2020 of which I received no answer at all. To my believe this is very unprofessional and has made me now someone who would not recommend them to anybody. Email - ***
