Rather use well known construction companies

I always support small businesses. But to my disappointment the construction done was terrible. After asking numerous times to give a scedual or planning of the construction, as we needed to move our furniture out of the areas. We had less than a day to move our furniture for the ceilings to be demolished. We also had to close our own areas with plastics. Then the tilers arrived with no warning and I did not have time to close up my areas properly. As we had to do it ourselfs..When the tilers removed the tiles, it flew all over the place. My kitchen cupboards was so filthy. It took me a day to clean the cupbaords and even removed peaces of tiles ontop of the cupboard. The new tiles were still full off grout which I ended op cleaning it off myself aswell. The Second tiler guy, yes only one, arrived to apply grout. He took a whole day to grout a 13m2 room. After we noticed he used the wrong grout. Another team was quickly send to our site to "recover" the damage. Because the previous team made a huge mess on the bathroom wall tiles aswell. Eventually the tiles were installed correctly. But they used so many full tiles for smaller places which was such a waste. Again I cleaned the tiles myself with grout remover. The tiler had to come back again as he had to install the tiles properly on the top section of the wall for the cornice to fit over. After the tiler was given instructions by the owner to also install the cornice. The owner blamed us for telling the tiler to do so, as the owner made promises to other clients he could not keep. And he was running late on his new projects. We were promised that our other bathroom ceiling will be completed today. His excuse is, because we held him back with the cornice he can't have the ceiling teams back yet, only on Monday. I dont know what the ceiling guys have to do with the tiler who installed the cornice (by instructions). Our walls are plastered badly. Our ceiling is not installed straight. And finally with the tiles installed, the perimeter walls are also not straight. This owner qoute was not even the cheapest from 3 qoutes. I gave him the project as I believe in supporting small business. Next time I will rather use a well known construction company and pay much more.
