Choose your service provider with care
We’ve recently completed the renovation on our bathroom where we made use of De Witt Bathrooms as the service provider. Our experience in terms of service, quality, mistakes, time management and attention to detail was extremely poor and I would most definitely not recommend their services.
The project was completed in about twice the time frame communicated due to mistakes that could have been avoided if the team had paid attention to detail and quality, put more thought into the process and communicated clearly within the team. Attendance and timekeeping was also poor. COVID-19 protocol had to be addressed with the owner before the team comp****.
The whole experience left a bitter taste. As per De Witt Bathrooms' protocol, we tried to resolve issues first with the site supervisor and then with the owner himself. The response was very unprofessional, even aggressive and only resulted in even worse communication within the team.
Worth the hassle? No. Do yourself a favour and look for another service provider.

Your lies as to me being aggressive when you spoke to me about your personality classes with Johan (as you refer to as the Site Supervisor, which he was not, he is the Operations Manager) is received with sadness, as I have really listened to you, and I have addressed the issues laid before me, in fact, I withdrew Johan from your site and coordinated it directly with the team, because I felt the communications between the parties have broken down, for NO fault of our own, but let's not waste energy on that, we will agree to disagree on that matter. It is a shame you have not placed your husbands last Whatsapp messages here for everyone to read, that he is satisfied, and knowing that we did more on your project than what we quoted for, for instance installing a new ceiling, which was never quoted for, we Rhinolite your walls above the tile line, which would have only been plastered, we fixed the wall to the entrance of your bathroom, which was never our responsibility, we did this, not complaining, and yes, one or two mistakes was made, but who is not human, it was rectified immediately, but to give us a 1 out of 5 star review, just speaks volume of you and your husbands incomprehension of what a project such as yourselves entail.
We will be sending our photographer in this week, to take the "after images" of your project, as per our contractual agreement, and we would love to come and showcase it here for the World to see, how ridiculous your review really is, we gave on top of it all, very good discount, and believe me, any company would want to finalize a project in the shortest possible timeframe, to ensure it saves on it's labour component, but we did not do this, we did not rush your project, in fact, also having worked on Saturdays and the one Sunday, we pushed as hard as we could, not taking any shortcuts. As and when you addressed issues with the team, they were more than willing to accommodate you and tried their utmost to satisfy your needs.
I therefore REJECT Your one star, and will only say this: You cannot make an UNHAPPY person in this life, a HAPPY client, we have long ago given up on playing psychologist with clients, we as De Witt Bathrooms know we don't deserve this 1 Star, but be that as it may, it was your right as a Google reviewer to review us based on your warped emotions.
Needless to say, I do pray you enjoy your beautiful new bathroom for many years to come, it is a small little house and every little bit of improvement makes the World of a difference. Good luck with your child's birth that is immanent and we pray all will go well with your sons birth and that he will be healthy and strong! Kind Regards. Team De Witt
